Shred Operator
Job Description:
Actively participate in elements of the safety system. Drive Forklift to load apron conveyor and weigh hopper. Ensure compliance to environmental requirements. Unload trucks and rail cars. Ensure quality of incoming material. Maintain feed rate. Maintain records using computerized systems, including RMAC. Account for receipt/shipment of material by truck and by rail. Basic maintenance of cold metal equipment. Keep all work areas clean and bright. Must be able to work well with others, follow directions and want a career. Must have 3 - 5 years of previously working in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to work rotating shifts 12.50 hours per shift. Shifts will rotate days for of the year then nights for the other of the year.
Job Requirements:
Work in an open air warehouse, that will be cold (below 50 degrees) in winter and hot (above 100 degrees) in summer. Climb on/off forklift several times a day. Climb stairs occasionally. Lift up to 50 pounds.
