This position is assigned to the Rehabilitation Clinic in GreensboroPOSITION SUMMARYPerforms under the direction and supervision of the Manager of Support Operations/Physical Therapistto meet clinic needs.

oPromotes and has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patient care protocol relating to the physical,psychosocial, and developmental needs for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patientoCompetently performs appropriate physical therapy techniques and proceduresoProvides for continuity of patient care through written and verbal communication with other health care professionalsoMakes recommendations for needed patient care equipment prior to patient discharge and assists withacquisition of same as appropriateoDocuments findings, patient progress, and all procedures performed within establishes time framesoSubmits all patient billing at the end of each dayoInstructs patients/family member in home programsoDemonstrates effective time managementoComplies with quality improvement standardsoParticipates in assigned aspects of affiliated PT/PTA student trainingESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEoEducation:
Graduation from an approved PTA ProgramoLicensure:
Active in-state PTA licenseoMinimum of 4 years experience in an Outpatient Care FacilityoCurrent CPR CertificationoKnowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care which is age specific/appropriate for patientsservedoBasic computer knowledgeoAppropriate interpersonal skills to enable positive interactions with patients/families, and other health care professional Recommended Skills Cpr Communication Interpersonal Skills Physical Therapy Health Care Psychosocial Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
